Quality Assurance
The task of providing our customers with a fully compliant casting begins with the quotation. Every aspect of the manufacturing process is defined prior to our response to a customer inquiry. SAI quality systems meet the requirements of Mil-A-45208A and we have successfully made parts which meet the standards defined in Mil-A-21180. Inspection and quality assurance techniques are in place for each step of the manufacturing process.
1st Article Inspection of new castings.
Pictured below is a casting produced by SAI for one of it's customers that has a 9 inch cross section
and each casting machined on both ends exhibited very high metallurgical integrity.
Final inspection before shipment using customer supplied fixture.
In this case, the fixture is an inscribed lexan overlay.
